Terms of Service
Effective November 7, 2026
1. Who we are
LinguaSeal, Inc. ("LinguaSeal", "we") is a California corporation providing certified document translation services through linguaseal.com (the "Service"). By placing an order you agree to these Terms.
2. The service
For each order we deliver a translation of the documents you upload into the target language you select, accompanied by a Certificate of Translation Accuracy signed by a LinguaSeal certification reviewer and recorded in our public verification registry. We translate what is present in the document; we do not authenticate, apostille or vouch for the genuineness of the original.
3. Your responsibilities
You confirm that you are entitled to have the documents translated, that uploads are legible and complete, and that the languages and document type you select are correct. Illegible or cropped content will be marked as such in the translation.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices are quoted per page before checkout and charged in U.S. dollars through our payment processor. Turnaround times are targets measured from successful payment during Pacific business hours and are not guarantees.
5. Acceptance and corrections
Our certificates are prepared to satisfy the certification requirements of U.S. federal and state agencies, courts and educational institutions, including 8 C.F.R. § 103.2(b)(3). Because acceptance decisions rest with the receiving institution, we cannot guarantee acceptance, but we will correct and re-issue any translation found to contain an error, or rejected on grounds of certification format, at no charge for 30 days after delivery.
6. Verification registry
Certificate records (number, issue date, document type, languages, page count, reviewer, and PDF fingerprint) are published at linguaseal.com/verify so recipients can confirm authenticity. Personal data from the document itself is never shown on the verification page. We may mark a certificate revoked or superseded if it is re-issued or if we learn it was obtained with fraudulent materials.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, our total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including immigration, legal or academic outcomes.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
